Through my participation as an actress in various productions of the Jewish Theater of Austria, I am personally persuaded by the high quality and great professionalism of its artistic director, Warren Rosenzweig, and his special ability to motivate his team to the highest level of achievement. Here the impossible is made possible, often under the most extreme conditions. Also as a spectator, I have seen performances of outstanding quality - for example, Hochwälder´s "Der Flüchtling" at the Theater mbH. And I’ve witnessed the recognition and high esteem of other spectators and many colleagues, and their astonishment that the Viennese government provides no subsidies, nor a permanent home for such a theater and one of such quality. The "Nestroyhof" project is a unique and wonderful opportunity that the city of Vienna should take care not to miss. It is a chance of enrichment, a highlight that can only add to the city’s reputation as a center of local and international culture and theater. Vienna is often called a marsh full of buds, where many are fated to drown. Here is a singular chance to allow a bud that is already admired by so many to bloom as never before! I hope for this!
