The re-establishment of the Jewish Theater in the Nestroyhof would be a true landmark in the restoration of Jewish culture in central Europe. As a New Yorker who fervently believes in the necessity of cultural exchange - especially in these times of deep divisions - I urge both the Austrian government and my fellow Americans to put their support behind this project. Vienna would be the richer for it.
